Exploration status of the field:

• The first exploratory well in the field was drilled in 1976
• The second exploratory well was drilled in 1999 by the National Iranian Oil Company, resulting in the confirmation of oil in the field.
• Four oil-bearing layers have been proven

Oil situation in the field:

• Total volume of 32 billion barrels (including 6 billion barrels in the northern part and 26 billion barrels in the southern part of the field)
• With natural production, only 5% of this capacity can be harvested and extracted.
